Programme pillar

Impact

Support young people to take practical roles in climate and environmental action through learning, conservation, climate-resilient practice, and community participation.

Climate and environmental pressures shape livelihoods, shared spaces, and the choices communities make for the future. Young people have a practical role in understanding those pressures and taking part in local responses.

Young Climate Stewards connects environmental learning with climate-smart agriculture, conservation, tree planting, and community participation. Tree planting is one activity within the programme, not its whole identity.
